The 2024 KX 450/X OE airbox and filter design is lacking in sealing and air flow • The stock cassette style cage/filter does not seal very well and is susceptible to sucking dirt into the intake/engine which can cause catastrophic engine damage • The Twin Air PowerFlow kit greatly improves the filter sealing issue that the OEM filter/cage has, while increasing the air flow by replacing the flat restrictive stock filter design with a larger domed style filter to increase air flow • The Twin Air PowerFlow kit includes a Glass Fiber Composite Cage, Base plate and Pre-Oiled Air Filter (FR). • This kit replaces the complete OEM filter system • The airbox on the KX450 is very restricted to be able to pass strict Euro standards
